GDSII/OASIS databases merging tool
Multi-Chip Modules or Multi-Project Chips, hard IPs integration, dummy tiles insertion require to process concurrently several large design databases. Dealing with multiple heterogeneous GDSII/OASIS databases becomes quickly hard to manage.
GTmerge is an efficient and easy to use tool to manipulate and merge large GDSII/OASIS databases. It performs topological operations during the merging of the databases. GTmerge optionally performs renaming of all cells and warrants cell unicity in the resulting GDSII/OASIS database. A cross-reference table is maintained to recover original names.
GTmerge is also suitable for layout generator of simple structures, such as titles or revision code.

How it works
Main features
Unlimited number of files
Supports any geometrical transformations
Multiple units management
GDSII/OASIS external libraries supported
Includes basic graphic patterns library (letters, numbers, bar-codes)
Parameterized renaming style
Directly operates on gzipped files
Key benefits
Error-free creation of MCMs, MPWs from heterogeneous GDSII/OASIS layouts
Easy instantiation of hard IPs
Fast finishing of layout prior to manufacturing: title and revision code insertion
Supported platforms
SUN Sparc Stations, 32 and 64 bits, Solaris 2.5 and +
HP HPUX 11.x
x86 PC Linux RedHat 3 and +
x86-64 PC Linux RedHat 3 and +
