| Existing Multi-Purpose layout finishing
tools, such as Design Rules Checkers are no longer able to address
the issues of todays largest designs. XYALIS offers a comprehensive
suite of layout finishing tools, GTsuite, dedicated to address the
new layout finishing challenges.
Benefits
With the emergence of SOC and increasing
design complexity, layout finishing cope with new challenges.
Current designs generate larger databases that become increasingly
difficult to process. SOC and MCM are made up of blocks from different
providers that yield to database consistency problems. SOC
designs with Hard IP blocks also increase the complexity of the
tape-out as IP blocks must be instantiated during chip finishing. Time
to manufacturing of critical designs is increased because existing
Multi-Purpose layout finishing tools, such as Design Rules Checkers
are no longer able to address the issues of today's largest designs.GTsuite
is dedicated to Chip Finishing of the largest designs
with minimum memory, disk requirements. GTsuite turns final processing
and painful last minute adjustments to your GDSII database easy
and safe.
GTcheck efficiently verifies your GDSII
database integrity. It performs critical input control during tape-out
sign-off. GTcheck flags missing cells, multiple cell definition, multiple
top-cells and corrupted databases. GTcheck also verifies non-standard
GDSII features. It summarizes the database content in a clear and
easy to read summary.

GTreplace turns painful last minute adjustments
to your GDSII database easy and safe. With GTreplace, you can substitutes
any cell and its hierarchy in your GDSII layout with any other external
cell. So ECO changes, ROM code replacement, revision code replacement,
and programmable customizations can be done in a single command.
The integrity and safety of your database
is assured with GTreplace bounding box checking. GTreplace removes
the referenced cell when no substitution cell is given. The replacement
cell can be either the topcell of a GDSII database, or any subcell
of any database, including the original one.

GTlayer translates all objects defined
in any layer/datatype to another one. This is mandatory for process
migration either from one generation to the next, or from one foundry
to another. GTlayer can remove all the objects in a specified layer/datatype.
GTlayer helps you cleaning databases from unexpected data (recognition
layers, non-manufacturable layers).

GTpick-cell extracts any cell and all
its hierarchy from your GDSII layout. Well-suited for database recovery,
GTpick-cell is the ideal companion to GTreplace to address local
corrections.

GTgds2ps generates postscript files from
GDSII databases for better documentation. Many powerful options
controlling output size, hierarchy depth, pattern and colors, fonts
make it easy to use.

GTgds2cif, GTcif2gds convert from GDSII
to CIF format and reverse. CIF is a user readable format. It is
helpful for understanding and debugging databases as well as for
building your own generators (ROM code generator...).
